Waldo Espinosa is an associate in the Entertainment Group.

Mr. Espinosa represents production companies, producers, directors, writers, and television personalities. He structures agreements at each stage of the production cycle, from obtaining content rights, to the optioning of original ideas and works to networks and studios, and by providing legal support on a variety of production and distribution agreements at the production stage. Mr. Espinosa has served as production counsel on numerous documentary features, television series, and other streaming programs. He has experience handling an array of agreements from appearance and location releases to materials and music licenses.

Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Mr. Espinosa was an intern at Ritholz Levy Fields, LLP, where he handled a variety of music transactional matters from production agreements to use licenses.

While in law school, Mr. Espinosa participated in New York Law School’s PTO Trademark clinic, where he counseled clients on trademark law issues, and drafted administrative appeals and office actions to the USPTO. He received his law degree cum laude from New York Law School where he served as vice president of the Media, Entertainment and Fashion Law Association.

Mr. Espinosa is fluent in Spanish. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
