Frankfurt Kurnit Elects Seven New Partners
Frankfurt Kurnit has elected as partners Tiffany R. Caterina, Marcie Cleary, Daniel M. Goldberg, Sasha H. Levites, Tyler Maulsby, Julie Murray, and Adam J. Osterweil. The promotions take effect January 1, 2021.
With the promotion of two new partners in Los Angeles and five in New York, this is the largest class of new partners that the firm has ever had.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tiffany, Marcie, Daniel, Sasha, Tyler, Julie, and Adam as partners,” said Frankfurt Kurnit Managing Partner Jeffrey A. Greenbaum. “They are terrific lawyers and great colleagues, and are leaders in their fields who will continue to be a tremendous resource to our clients.”
Ms. Cleary, Ms. Levites, and Ms. Murray, who are all based in New York, are becoming partners in the firm’s Entertainment Group.
Ms. Caterina, based in Los Angeles, and Mr. Maulsby, based in New York, are becoming partners in the firm’s Litigation Group. Mr. Maulsby will also be a partner in the firm’s Legal Ethics & Professional Responsibility Group and White Collar Defense & Investigations Group.
Mr. Goldberg, based in Los Angeles, is becoming a partner in the firm’s Privacy & Data Security Group and Advertising Technology Group.
Mr. Osterweil, based on New York, is becoming a partner the firm’s Estate Planning & Administration Group.
About Tiffany R. Caterina
Tiffany R. Caterina is a partner in the Litigation Group and is based in Los Angeles. A Super Lawyers’ “Rising Star,” Ms. Caterina represents individual and corporate clients in business and employment disputes related to the film, television, digital media, video game, and sports industries. She successfully litigated to judgment a multimillion dollar profit participation case and multimillion dollar commission cases involving breaches of fiduciary duties. She also has extensive experience litigating to resolution disputes regarding talent services and compensation; production, distribution, licensing, and output agreements; copyright and trademark issues; and various employment matters, including contract, duty of loyalty and non-compete, misclassification, and wage and hour disputes. About Marcie Cleary
Marcie Cleary is a partner in the Entertainment Group and is based in New York. Ms. Cleary negotiates and structures a wide range of entertainment transactions for clients in the film, television, digital, and book publishing industries. Ms. Cleary’s clients include top comedians, podcasters, actors, writers, directors, producers, authors, news correspondents, and influencers. Ms. Cleary has developed a significant practice representing comedians in deals for stand-up specials, television and digital series, films, and recorded albums, and representing podcasters in negotiating creator and hosting agreements, and establishing podcast networks. She was recently featured in Variety’s Legal Impact Report, Best Lawyers' “Ones to Watch” list for Entertainment and Sports Law, and as a Super Lawyers’ “Rising Star” in the Entertainment and Sports field. About Daniel M. Goldberg
Daniel M. Goldberg is a partner in the Privacy & Data Security Group, and the Advertising Technology Group, and is based in Los Angeles. Recognized for his expertise by Chambers USA, The Legal 500, Law360, and Super Lawyers, Mr. Goldberg counsels clients on all matters involving data – from collection and monetization to security and incident prevention. Mr. Maulsby represents lawyers, law firms, and other members of the legal services industry in litigation and counseling matters including legal malpractice, conflicts of interest, fee disputes, disciplinary and admissions proceedings, and other ethics and risk management issues.
