Alice Barsky is an associate in the Entertainment Group at Frankfurt Kurnit, representing clients in the film, television, digital media, sports and publishing industries.
Alice provides legal counsel to writers, directors, actors, comedians, producers, and production companies from emerging talent to industry veterans. Alice has experience advising on and negotiating a wide range of entertainment transactions, including shopping agreements, production services agreements, rights acquisitions, clearances, and talent services agreements for projects in film, television, podcasting, publishing, and live events.
Alice’s path to entertainment law began in New York City’s independent film community, where she coordinated press campaigns for films premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, SXSW, and the Tribeca Film Festival. She later worked as a paralegal in scripted entertainment at Frankfurt Kurnit prior to relocating to Los Angeles and earning her J.D. from USC Gould School of Law.
