Nate advises clients ranging from independent game developers and user-generated content creators to talent groups and media organizations, offering legal support across a wide variety of transactional matters. His practice is focused on supporting clients through all aspects of game production and promotion, from early concept and IP strategy to commercial launch and ongoing partnerships. He frequently advises on the preparation and negotiation of key transaction documents, including intellectual property licensing, advertising and endorsement agreements, game production and financing arrangements, content creation contracts, trademark matters, and corporate structuring.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Nate clerked at ESG Law LLP, where he provided support on intellectual property-focused corporate transactions and various multimedia deals centered within the interactive entertainment and esports industries.
Nate earned his J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law, where he sat as an associate editor on the Journal of Science and Technology Law and served as a new student ambassador, providing mentorship to incoming students. He also participates as a guest lecturer at Syracuse University and SUNY Oswego, speaking on legal issues faced by attorneys in the interactive entertainment industry and on career development within the space. Nate is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
