Frankfurt Kurnit in The Legal 500 2018
The Legal 500, a London-based directory of leading lawyers, ranks our Marketing and Advertising group in Tier 1 and our Media and Entertainment group in Tier 2. The Legal 500 praises our Intellectual Property (Copyright) practice. The publication cites our “unbelievable industry knowledge,” and says we’re “quite simply the best and a true top choice for clients.” The Legal 500 also praised 15 of our attorneys individually: Christopher Chase, Victoria Cook, Richard B. Law360’s Legal Lions Of The Week
Law360 mentions Tyler Maulsby, Tricia Legittino, Kristen Niven and John Harris as "Legal Lions" for their successful representation of former Gibson Dunn & Crutcher partner Mark A. Perry. A California judge ruled that the firm must pay the well-known appellate attorney $141,000 in legal fees after losing their legal battle over his move to Weil Gotshal & Manges. Gibson Dunn already who owes approximately $585,000 to Mr. Perry, as the judge also affirmed an arbitrator's decision that he did not resign but retired, and was entitled to his retirement benefits.
