Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ Wins SCAD Film Festival Audience Award

Variety noted that our firm sponsored cash prizes for key competition awards including Best Cinematography, Best Professional Short, Best Narrative Feature, and Best Documentary Feature. Award recipients included The Singers (Best Cinematography, dir. Sam Davis), Rise (Best Professional Short, dir. Jessica J. Rowlands), Charliebird (Best Narrative Feature, dir. Libby Ewing), and Yanuni (Best Documentary Feature, dir. Richard Ladkani). This year’s festival showcased over 100 films selected from more than 2,500 submissions, celebrating excellence across narrative features, documentaries, shorts, and special jury categories. Other highlights of the festival included a sold-out screening of Netflix’s Frankenstein, written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, which received the SCAD Film Festival Audience Award.
