HBO’s ‘Task’ Sets All-Women Directing Team for Season 2

Deadline mentions Frankfurt Kurnit as counsel to Georgi Banks-Davies, who is part of the all-women directing team for Season 2 of HBO's critically acclaimed crime drama Task. Banks-Davies will direct the first block of episodes for the new season, which is currently in pre-production. She joins Clare Kilner (House of the Dragon), Kitty Green (The Assistant), and returning director and executive producer Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Task, The Gilded Age) on the directing team.

Banks-Davies is a BAFTA Award-winning director known for her work on several acclaimed series, including Paper Girls, I Hate Suzie—her television directorial debut—and The Night Manager. She is represented by Entertainment Group partner Victoria S. Cook.
