Protecting Color as a Trademark in the United States—Part 1
Trademark & Brand Management Chair Catherine Farrelly led the task force that wrote, “Protecting Color as a Trademark in the United States—Part 1” published in the INTA Bulletin. The article looks at the history of color marks in the United States and shares insights from INTA's U.S. Color Marks Task Force of the Non-Traditional Trademarks Committee (the Task Force) reviewal of prosecution records of 350 federal color mark filings during the 2020‒2021 Committee Term. The article was co-authored by Noor Bahhur, Tina Bondy, Kristina D'Angelo, Kai-Wen Hsieh, Anna Kuhn, Jacob Rosenbaum, Michael Metteauer, Michelle Murphy, and Luna Samman.

Minkoff’s commentary, “A Call for Pro Bono Work in Lieu of Nationwide Injunctions.” In considering the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Trump v. CASA (No. 24A884) on nationwide injunctions to enforce constitutional and statutory rights, the co-authors propose "that law firms engage in a large-scale pro bono effort to pursue individual claims whenever appropriate to secure important rights..."
