USC Gould alumnus Daniel Goldberg recognized as leading privacy lawyer in California

Daniel M. Goldberg is featured in USC Gould School of Law's Alumni News newsletter for his pioneering role in the rapidly evolving field of privacy law. Goldberg reflects on entering the legal profession at a time when privacy law was not yet a recognized specialty and law schools offered little coursework focused on digital rights or data protection. Driven by his interest in technology and digital media, he created his own path by taking intellectual property courses and completing internships with Sony, Universal Music, and Millrock Entertainment. After beginning his career in commercial litigation, he transitioned into privacy law and ultimately helped build Frankfurt Kurnit’s privacy and data security practice, becoming one of California’s leading authorities in the field.
